Some background to InnerGod
What this space is
This is a space I created for myself as a creative outlet—a place where I can post stories and short articles about my personal thoughts.
Think of it like a cup of water with dish soap in it. From time to time, I blow bubbles through a straw. These soap bubbles might be small or big; there might be just a few or a whole bunch all at once.
The thing with soap bubbles is—they might pop. So treat this space as a source of inspiration, an invitation to muse on your own experiences and metaphors.
This space comes with no guarantees or promises—except that I’ll do my best to articulate my thinking as clearly as possible. I may edit, append, or amend what’s here at any given time. It’s not the truth. It might not even be a truth.
In this space, you’ll find personal stories, different perspectives, and metaphors I currently hold or have explored.
InnerGod, because we all carry a piece of Divinity
The name of this website reflects how I try to look at the world. It holds a certain tension. Some people might say it’s outrageous or profane—but for me, it’s about recognizing that we all carry a connection to, or a spark of, the divine.
We are part of this world and of creation. We walk on this Earth, beneath our Sun during the day and our Moon and billions of stars at night.
I believe we are each a tiny reflection of all that exists—which is what I call “God.” But more on that in the stories.
Why I created this place
I’m writing here not just to create a space for my own thinking. It’s also an invitation for you to do the same.
I believe that by learning about ourselves—how we act and operate, how we view the world, and what beliefs we hold—we uncover important and useful insights.
When we share these thoughts, perspectives, and metaphors, we can understand one another better. That’s the kind of sharing I’m doing here and I hope you find something meaningful in these pages.
